With no foals in 2009 and Rainhill Rowena no longer eligible for youngstock classes we have been looking for a filly foal to accompany Rainhill Fair Imogine to the shows in 2010. It is not surprising, given that six of the last seven foals we have bred are by Gwynfaes Culhwch, the seventh was out of one of his daughters, that we hoped for one of his progeny. We were delighted to buy Bryncadno Ffleur from Jane and Paul Woolman and we collected her after the sales in 2009. Ffleur was very successful in hand as a yearling in 2010 with wins at Bath and West, South of England, Home Counties and Southern Counties WPCA shows. Ffleur grew very fast, she is now 15hh, and was too gangly to show as a two year old. After she was broken we sold her as a riding horse.
